Terms & Conditions

These terms apply whether you're a business setting up a loyalty card on StampIt, or a customer saving one of those cards to your Digital Wallet. By creating a card, joining a loyalty program, or otherwise using StampIt, you're agreeing to what's written below.

1. What StampIt does

StampIt lets businesses run a digital stamp-card loyalty program through Digital Wallet. Businesses set up a card with their own branding and reward rules; their customers save that card and collect stamps at checkout; rewards are issued automatically once a customer hits a milestone. Running that loop is the whole point of the service, and it only works if we can store and use the information described below.

Loyalty programs, reward rules, and any coupon or promotional offer are created and defined by each individual business, not by StampIt. StampIt provides the platform that tracks stamps and issues coupons automatically according to the rules a business sets — we don't review, guarantee, or stand behind any specific reward. A business is solely responsible for honoring what it promises its own customers.

2. The data we collect

If you're a business, that's your business name, program details, branding, and the account details of any staff you add. If you're a customer, that's your name, email, and your stamp and coupon history with the businesses whose cards you've saved. Either way, we also keep a record of activity on the platform — things like when stamps are scanned, when rewards are issued, and general usage of the dashboard and card pages — since that's how the service actually functions and how we notice when something is broken.

3. How we use it

By agreeing to these terms, you're authorizing StampIt to access and use your data for the purposes of operating your loyalty card or your loyalty program, keeping the platform secure and working correctly, and understanding how the product is actually used so we can improve it. That includes looking at aggregate and individual usage patterns, diagnosing bugs, and reasoning about what features to build or fix next. We don't sell your data to third parties, and we don't use it for anything unrelated to running and improving StampIt.

4. Customer accounts

Joining a business's loyalty program through StampIt is free. You agree to give accurate information when you join. Your card is identified at checkout by its own QR code, or a short manual code as a fallback — not by re-typing personal details each time. Stamps, points, and coupons issued through StampIt have no cash value, aren't transferable to another person or card, and may expire according to the issuing business's own program rules — check the specific reward or coupon for whether an expiry applies to it. We don't set, override, or arbitrate a business's reward rules on a customer's behalf. If you'd like your account or stamp history removed, contact us directly (see Questions, below) rather than assuming it happens automatically.

5. Business accounts

If you're running a loyalty program on StampIt, you're responsible for the accuracy of your branding, your stated reward rules, and any reward, coupon, or promotional offer you create — including a one-off broadcast reward sent to your existing customers — and for honoring whatever you promise. Any message or notification you send through StampIt, whether a plain broadcast message or a broadcast reward, must only reach customers who've actually joined your own program, must be lawful, and can't be used for spam or content unrelated to your loyalty program. Any pricing, plan, or usage limits that apply to your account are whatever's separately agreed between you and StampIt, if anything. We may suspend or restrict an account that breaks these terms.

6. Fair use

To keep the platform working correctly and fairly for everyone, you agree not to: fraudulently generate stamps, points, or coupons outside of normal use — for example, exploiting the manual code-entry fallback to award stamps that weren't actually earned; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise interfere with StampIt's systems or another business's loyalty program; or use any campaign, broadcast, or account detail for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these rules.

7. Liability

StampIt is provided “as is,” without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent the law allows, we aren't liable for a business failing to honor a reward or coupon it created — that's between the business and its customer, not something StampIt guarantees or arbitrates. Beyond that, our overall liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

8. Feedback and contact

We may reach out — by email, or through the platform itself — to ask how things are going, understand a problem you ran into, or get your reaction to something new we're considering. Any feedback you give us, whether we asked for it or you sent it unprompted, can be used to shape and improve StampIt going forward, without any obligation on our part beyond what's already promised here.

9. Changes to these terms

StampIt is an evolving service, and these terms may be revised at any time as the platform changes — to reflect new features, new ways data is used to improve the product, or general clarifications. The version published here at any given time is the one that applies. We won't separately notify you each time something changes; it's your responsibility to check back occasionally if you want to stay current. Continuing to use StampIt — whether that's a business managing its loyalty program or a customer collecting stamps — after a change is published means you accept the terms as they currently stand, without needing to re-confirm anything.

10. Questions

If anything here is unclear, or you want to know more about how your data is handled, reach out to us directly rather than guessing — we'd rather explain it than have you assume the worst.
